Nestled in the breathtaking Gamo Highlands of southern Ethiopia, Dorze Sooho Cultural Village and Tours began as a dream to share the unique culture of the Dorze people with the world. The Dorze are renowned for their remarkable bamboo architecture, intricate weaving traditions, and warm hospitality that has welcomed travelers for generations.
What started as a small family-run guesthouse has grown into a community-centered lodge that provides authentic cultural experiences while preserving and celebrating Dorze heritage. Today, we welcome guests from around the globe to immerse themselves in our way of life, from sleeping in traditional bamboo huts to learning the art of weaving from master craftsmen.
